Find an article from the Internet on whichever topic you like and do the following:
Pick ten sentences for you to analyze
Identify the types of phrases within the sentences
Identify the sentence pattern they belong to
Each sentence's analysis will amount to 5 points
The assignment will have a total of 50 points and it will be worth 15% of your final grade.
